This year, I am participating in the East Bay AIDS Walk on Saturday, September 6, 2008. This walk seeks to promote awareness of the AIDS epidemic in the local East Bay community while providing funding to local organizations that are fighting this epidemic. 100% of funds raised go directly to non-profit organizations who participated in the EBAW to support the programs and services they provide in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in efforts to reduce new HIV infections, and to help those already infected by the virus.
