Can I donate cash or checks offline?

Please indicate the walker and/or agency you would like the money credited to on the check or with the cash. Offline cash or checks will only be recorded online after we receive them and only if the beneficiary walker and/or agency is clearly labeled.
How long before offline donations will be recorded online?
This may take up to 2 months.
How can my company match my donation?
You need to ask your own company how they do this. If they need a form filled out from us please email us at info@eastbayaidswalk.org.
What agencies become beneficiary agencies?
Any qualified non-profit organization that registers a team and raises at least $500 for it team by the day of the walk qualifies as a beneficiary agency. Walkers can choose which beneficiary they would like to donate their money if they are not part of the beneficiary agencies' team, but if the beneficiary does not raise $500 the money will be donated to the EBAW General Fund and split equally among all qualifying beneficiaries.
I am interested in helping out with the organization of the EBAW, how can I get involved?
The EBAW is run solely on volunteers. We have planning meetings on the first Wednesday of the month from 3-5 PM. We also need a lot of volunteers on the day of the walk. If interested in attending either please email info@eastbayaidswalk.org
Can I get a receipt for my online or offline donation?
When you donate online, to receive a receipt please enter your email address and it will be sent to you. If donating offline please include a letter with your donation indicating your need for a receipt along with a mailing address, phone number, and/or email address and you will be mailed one.
Is there a registration fee to participate in the walk?
No. The walk is free for everyone but this is a fundraiser and everyone is encouraged to raise at least $15 before the day of the walk.
Who can participate in the Resource Fair on the day of the walk?
All qualifying beneficiary agencies will be reserved either a half or full table depending on your request. All corporate sponsors will have one table. All other agencies need to email info@eastbayaidswalk.org to find out how to get a table.
